- The Blackthorn Restaurant & Pub is a multi-faceted establishment offering the finest in food, entertainment and atmosphere. The secluded dining room is adorned by a beautiful stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings and softly lit ambiance. The bar boasts a wide variety of wines, beers & specialty drinks. There is Karaoke on Tuesday night & a DJ from Thursday through Saturday night. The outdoor deck is always a sunny place for lunch & dinner and as the sun sets the fun begins at our Tiki bar. If an authentic Irish pub and cozy atmosphere is what you are looking for it doesn't get any better in New Jersey than the Blackthorn Restaurant & Irish Pub. There is something for all patrons to enjoy.

We had dinner there on Sept 9. The food was delicious and the service was great. We are going back and recommending Blackthor to our family and friends. Arlene, Anne and Joann
I had lunch with my 2 friends yesterday and we were thoroughly pleased with the experience. Eugene and Rose were very hospitable and friendly, spent some time with us chatting about Ireland. The Shepherd's pie was great and our server was very good. I highly recommend it

I was very impressed with the blackthorn's staff and personnel. The service was excellent, timely, and courteous. I was thoroughly impressed with the menu and display of the dishes. A personal way about business brings about a caring and "first name basis" type of environment. It's great to see a family run business taking such an impactive role in their service of customers and the surrounding community. I strongly recommend the Black Thorn for a great time and that you get to know the family.
Me and my family recently ate at Black Thorn in Parsippany and the food was great! We did have a problem with the way one of the employees treated us. I believe his name was Scott. The way he presented himself was horrible and we were greatly displeased. Other than that everything was great.
